    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To possess high maintainability, and to facilitate a change in a firing pattern.SOLUTION: This continuous firing furnace includes one or a plurality of heating units 120 which have: cases 120b having through-holes 120a in the conveyance direction of an object to be heated; heating parts 160 for heating the object to be heated; and movable parts 150 disposed on the under part of the case and supporting freely movably the case in the horizontal direction where the through-holes are formed in the conveyance direction so that the through-holes can communicate with each other. The continuous firing furnace also includes: one or a plurality of cooling units 122 which have cases 122b having through-holes 122a in the conveyance direction of the object to be heated and cooling parts 170 for cooling the object to be heated, and are formed so as to communicate with the through-holes of the plurality of heating units to cool the object to be heated; and an energizing part 124 which energizes one or the plurality of heating units, and one or the plurality of cooling units in the conveyance direction where the heating units by themselves, and the heating unit and the cooling unit are coupled to each other according to the energization by means of the energizing part.
