    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent defective cooling of an evaporator in a cooling operation by preventing remaining of frost on a drain pan in a defrosting operation. SOLUTION: This refrigeration device (10) includes a refrigerant circuit (20) for switching between a forward-cycle cooling operation in which a refrigerant is evaporated in the evaporator (50), and a reverse-cycle defrosting operation in which the refrigerant discharged from a compressor (30) is supplied to the evaporator (50), a supercooling heat exchanger (40) for supercooling a liquid refrigerant, and a drain pan coil (52) for heating a drain pan of the evaporator (50) by the liquid refrigerant in the cooling operation. The refrigeration device (10) further includes a first temperature sensor (64) for detecting a refrigerant temperature at the outlet of the drain pan coil (52) in the defrosting operation, a second temperature sensor (65) for detecting the temperature of the evaporator (50) in the defrosting operation, and a defrosting controller (71) for terminating the defrosting operation when the temperature detected by the first temperature sensor (64) rises to a prescribed first temperature or higher, and the temperature detected by the second temperature sensor (65) rises to a prescribed second temperature or higher.
