    • PURPOSE:To enable a uniform combustion of plastic waste material to be carried out in an entire incinerator by a method wherein the plastic waste material is ignited while being agitated together with several iron balls in the incinerator. CONSTITUTION:In order to incinerate and treat plastic waste material in an incinerator the plastic waste material P is fed into a rotary incinerator A at the inlet port 1, a flame of a burner 3 is blown from the inlet port 1 while the rotary incinerator A is rotated. At the secondary rotating incinerator B, air is injected from a pipe 11. Under a rotation of the rotary incinerator A, the plastic waste material P is agitat ed with the iron balls R, and the plastic waste material P is floated over the iron balls R due to its specific weight, so that the flame of the burner 3 is directly applied to the plastic waste material, the iron balls R are also exposed sometimes from the plastic waste material P under an agitation and exposed to the flame and both of them are heated. Further, the iron balls R are struck against the plastic waste material P to break the plastic into fine pieces, the balls are rotated on the inner circumferential surface of the rotary incinerator A or scrapes against the surface. Under such an activity of iron balls R, the molten material of plastic waste P does not adhered to the outer surfaces of the iron balls or the inner circumferential surface of the rotary incinerator A.
