    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further enhance the locking effect of a water pipe by improving a biting structure to the water pipe while ensuring a high fastening force by uniformly reducing the diameter of the whole body so as not to cause biased fastening of a chuck ring. SOLUTION: The pipe joint includes: a joint body having an annular space between an external thread body and a water-passing sleeve as an insert part of the water pipe, in which a tapered port gradually reduced in diameter is formed at an opening of the external thread body and an outward projection is formed on the outer circumferential surface of the water-passing sleeve; a cap nut having a reversed tapered port reversed to the tapered port at an inner surface opening, the cap nut being screwed to the external thread body; and a chuck ring having tapered surfaces corresponding respectively to the tapered port and the reversed tapered port, which are formed on the outer surface at both sides. A pair of inward projections is formed in symmetric positions across the outward projection in an internal insert hole of the chuck ring, and the tapered port and the reversed tapered port have the same inclination in linear symmetry. On the outer circumferential surface of the water-passing sleeve, a pair of inward recessed parts facing respectively the inward projections of the chuck ring is formed across the outward projection.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint structure capable of promptly performing firm connection without performing flare processing on an end portion in the case where a pipe is made of aluminum.SOLUTION: The pipe joint structure comprises a joint body 1 with a male screw and a box nut 3 which is threaded to a male screw 2 of the joint body 1, and connects an aluminum pipe 4. The pipe joint structure further comprises a sleeve 7 for compression deformation which is housed in an internal housing space 10 of the box nut 3, includes a concave circumferential groove 9 on an outer circumferential surface 8 and receives an axial compression force from the joint body 1 and the box nut 3 when threading the box nut 3 and the male screw 2 of the joint body 1, in which a concave circumferential groove thin wall part 13 is plastically deformed radially inwards, and which is engaged from the side of an outer circumferential surface 14 of the inserted aluminum pipe 4 so as to prevent the aluminum pipe 4 from being disconnected.
