    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid stress concentration while securing installation precision of a holding member.
      SOLUTION: Around a root of a diameter-contracted part 25 in a stepped surface 33 of the holding member 21, a groove 40 is formed along the whole circumference, and roundness 41 is provided at a corner part on the inner circumferential side of a groove bottom of it. A probe 20 is installed by elastically pressing the stepped surface 33 to a mouth edge of an installation hole 15 of a base plate 13 of a brake shoe 12. Since a brake drum 10 slides to get in contact with a folded part 22A of a wire 22 to apply bending force in the direction of an illustrated arrow to the diameter-contracted part 25 of the holding member 21, stress concentration may occur at the corner part on the inner circumferential side of the bottom of the groove 40. However, as the roundness 41 is provided, stress concentration is avoided. As a flat surface state of the stepped surface 33 is secured, it can be normally applied to the mouth edge of the installation hole 15. The holding member 21, and therefore the probe 20, can thus be installed onto the brake shoe 12 at high precision.
