    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend the bearing service life by excellently maintaining the lubricating state inside a solid lubrication rolling bearing over a long period of time.SOLUTION: In the solid lubrication rolling bearing, a retainer 4 is configured to retain balls (rolling elements) in pockets 4a between inner/outer rings 1, 2. One of the pockets of the retainer stores a solid lubricant only or one set of two lubricating members 5, respectively formed of a solid lubricant and a binder and formed into a hemispherical shape, in such a posture that mutual planes of the lubricating members face each other. A leaf spring 6 is inserted between the planes of the respective lubricating members 5 so as to press the spherical surfaces of the respective lubricating members 5 each against an inner-ring raceway surface 1a and an outer-ring raceway surface 2a and to bring the spherical surfaces of the respective lubricating members into sliding contact with the raceway surfaces in a state that the respective lubricating members are engaged with the retainer 4. Accordingly, a hard-to-peel adhered film of the solid lubricant is evenly formed on each of raceway surfaces 1a, 2a. As a result, it is possible to excellently maintain the lubricating state between the inner-ring raceway surface 1a/the outer-ring raceway surface 2a and the balls over a long period of time, thereby achieving the extension of the bearing service life.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing device in which an absolute amount of a lubricant contributing to lubrication during rotation of the bearing can be easily increased without increasing the number of component items of the bearing.SOLUTION: The rolling bearing device includes inner rings 2, outer rings 3, rolling bodies 4, retainers 5 and an inner ring spacer 6. The inner ring spacer 6 is formed of an oil-retaining member 7 that comprises a sintered metal impregnated with lubricating oil, and of a spacer cover 8 fitted to the outer perimeter of the oil-retaining member 7. Through centrifugal force generating in the oil-retaining member 7 when the bearing rotates, lubricating oil is scattered to the outer diameter side from a chamfer 7d of the oil-retaining member 7 via an oil supply route S to thereby lubricate the interior of the bearing with the oil.
