    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce suction pulsation while inhibiting a variable volume fluid machine from getting larger.
      SOLUTION: A Roots fluid machine 37 is attached to a screw type fluid machine 10 which is a variable volume fluid machine. Teeth 35 of a rotor 33 of the Roots fluid machine 37 has a helical shape and volume of a suction space H2 defined in a pump chamber 311 by the rotor does not vary. Volume of a suction space H1 defined in a pump chamber 231 by screw rotors 21, 22 of the screw type fluid machine 10 varies. Communication between a delivery port 362 of the Roots fluid machine 37 and a suction port 281 of the screw type fluid machine 10 is established by a conduit 38.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary piston machine capable of saving a space in the engine space of an automobile, and overcoming inconvenience of a pressure difference depending on a rotational speed between its suction side and pressure side.
      SOLUTION: This rotary piston machine has a bypass channel, and the bypass channel is formed through two openings 15, 16 disposed in the sidewall 6 of the delivery housing 4 of the machine and a channel 17 extending into this sidewall 6. The bypass channel 17 is partitioned and formed by the wall part area of the sidewall 6 on one side, and is partitioned and formed by a channel cover 19 assembled in the sidewall 6 on the other side. The housing of a pressure relief valve 14 is formed into a cup shape in the channel cover 19. A blocking member is operated like a piston in the cylindrical inner surface 27 of the housing.
