    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing device for a vehicle opening/closing body, which is excellent in strength, and smoothly opens/closes the opening/closing body without increasing the thickness of a link member. SOLUTION: The opening/closing device for the vehicle opening/closing body is constructed such that the opening/closing body 1 which is openably supported by a chassis 2 about a hinge shaft 3 as the center, is opened/closed by moving a reciprocating member 8 in a direction orthogonal to the hinge shaft 3, by power of a motor 6 arranged in the chassis 2, via the link member 10 which has one end secured to the opening/closing body 1 and the other end pivoted on an end of the reciprocating member 8 by means of a link shaft 11 extending in the same direction as that of the hinge shaft 3. Then an inhibiting member 12 which is provided for a fixed body 5 is arranged between both side wall portions 10a, 10a which are arranged on the link member 10 so as to be spaced from each other with respect to an axial line of the link shaft 11, in a manner relatively movable in a moving direction of the link member 10.     • PURPOSE:To obtain at low cost a glass stabilizer for which abnormal noise is prevented from being generated by holding a spherical body that performs the steady rest of a window glass in a holder member. CONSTITUTION:Following the elevation of a window glass 4, a spherical body 13 is rotating and supports the window glass 4 and then prevents the deflection of the window glass at elevation. The spherical body 13 freely rotates with fixed low friction resistance following up the elevation direction of the window glass 4. Thus, even if the elevation trajectory of the window glass 4 is varied, the trajectory will not influence the elevation resistance of the window glass 4. As a result, the window glass 4 can smoothly be elevated and the generation of abnormal noise resulting from an increase in friction resistance can be offset.
