    • PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of damage due to shallow cultivating, by a method wherein a grooving plate body having a grooving cutter, is rotatably attached to the machine frame coupled to a running machine body, a running body is run as the grooving plate body is rotated, and a deep hard soil layer at the lower part of cultivated soil is grooved by the grooving cutter. CONSTITUTION:A machine frame 3 is coupled to a coupling mechanism 2 at the rear of a running machine body 1, a support case 8 incorporating a chain mechanism 11 is hung down from the lower part of the machine frame 3, and a power is transmitted to a rotor shaft 10 through a power take-out port 12, a universal joint 13, an input shaft 14, and the chain mechanism 11. 4 grooving plate bodies 17 are secured at given pitches to the rotor shaft 10, and a grooving cutter 18 is formed on the outer peripheral edge of a plate body 17. The running machine body 1 is run as the grooving plate body 17 is rotated, and a deep hard soil layer 20 is grooved by means of the grooving cutter 18.
