    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas generating agent composition in which stable burning performance can be maintained even in accordance with an environmental temperature change.SOLUTION: The gas generating agent composition comprises: a fuel (a); and an oxidizer (b), and satisfies the requirements (I) and (II): (I) the fact that the burning temperature when it is subjected to ignition burning at any temperature of environmental temperatures included in the range of -40 to 85°C is the melting point of the substance included in the burning residue; and (ii) the fact that a burning temperature difference when it is subjected to the ignition burning at a temperature of -40 to 85°C is less than 125 K.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas generator composition where the pressure index is very small and the pressure dependence of a burning rate is extremely low. SOLUTION: The gas generator composition containing a nitrogen-containing organic compound as a fuel and ammonium nitrate as an oxidizing agent is characterized by including a weight ratio of the nitrogen-containing organic compound to ammonium nitrate of 35/65 or less. Further, the blending ratio of a copper compound in the gas generator composition may be larger than 0 pts.wt. and 30 pts.wt. or less based on 100 pts.wt. of the total amount of the nitrogen-containing organic compound and ammonium nitrate. A basic copper nitrate is favorable as the copper compound. A guanidine derivative, especially guanidine nitrate, is favorable as the nitrogen-containing organic compound.
