    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for handling of a paper sheet, in which a sheet of paper can be reliably pulled out one by one from stacked paper sheets so as to be sucked and taken out therefrom by a rotor, and the taken-out paper sheet can be reliably handed over to a conveyer, and stably conveyed at a relatively high speed through the conveyer, and to provide a method for handling of the paper sheet.SOLUTION: The device for handling of the paper sheet, includes: a take-out rotor configured to rotate with a negative pressure acting on a paper sheet at the take-out position; and a conveyor belt for receiving and conveying the paper sheet taken out from the take-out position. The device also includes a controller for controlling: the conveyor belt to run at the target conveying speed; and the take-out rotor to rotate at a low speed at the start of taking out a paper sheet, and then, when the taken-out paper sheet is handed over to the conveyor, to rotate at a peripheral speed substantially same with the conveying speed on the occasion.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate replacement of a filter in an apparatus having the filter disposed in the midway of a vaccum suction path disposed in the interior of a rotary take-out device by accomodating the filter in an accomodating chamber disposed in the midway of the vacuum suction path and covering the chamber with a cover. CONSTITUTION:A rotary take-out device 26 is adapted to take out stacked paper sheets P supplied to a supply portion 21 sheet by sheet sequentially from the foremost first, and carry same in a transport path 29 formed by transport belts 27, 28. The rotary take-out device 26 has a pair of adsorption heads 35 having a vacuum adsorption hole 34 comprising the main adsorption hole 34a and an auxiliary adsorption hole 34b disposed opposite to adsorption holes 34 are connected to a vaccum suction path (not shown) through an axial branch hole 39 and a radial hole 43. In this case, accomodating chambers 44 opened to the outer peripheral surface of a sleeve 32 are formed on the branch portions of the above holes 39, 43, and filters 45 are accomodated in the chambers 44. An opening 46 of the accomodating chamber 44 is covered with a cover 47 adsorbed and retained by a magnet.

    • PURPOSE:To certainly send-out paper sheets by obtaining the attracting force for attracting paper-sheets onto a rotary drum by the jet-pump action in utilization of the air flow supplied from a ventilating fan, as driving fluid. CONSTITUTION:The peripheral surface of a rotary drum 5 is opposed to the uppermost paper-sheet in the paper-sheets P held in a holding mechanism 1, and the air flow supplied from a ventilating fan 18 is guided through the inside of the drum 5 in an air flow passage 13. In an intake pump mechanism 20 formed, at the part positioned in the drum 5, in the air flow passage 13, intake operation is carried-out through the hole 9 on the peripheral wall of the drum 5 by the jet pump action in utilization of the air flow supplied from the fan 18, as driving fluid, and the paper-sheet is attracted onto the peripheral surface of the drum 5 each time when the hole 9 is opposed to the uppermost paper-sheet. Further, in conveyance mechanisms 31 and 32, the paper-sheet which is attracted onto the peripheral surface of the drum 5 and revolution-transferred by the revolution of the drum 5 is separated from the peripheral surface of the drum 5, and then transferred.

    • PURPOSE:To reliably prevent multi-feeding of paper by a suction cylinder opposed to a rotary drum and to adsorb and take out the paper sheet adsorbed and stopped on a groove of the suction cylinder by rotating the rotary drum to easily separate the paper sheet from the suction cylinder by a next suction hole. CONSTITUTION:Where a suction hole 33 of a rotary drum 41 adsorbs and feed out two and more sheets of paper stacked on a placing table 28 at one time, the back surfaces of the leading end portions of the lower paper sheets are sequantially adsorbed and stopped by a suction cylinder 31, so that only the uppermost paper sheet is transported by the rotary drum 41 to prevent multi-feeding. The stopped paper sheet is stopped in such a manner as to be on a groove 32 mounted on the suction cylinder 31 in the paper feed direction. Both side ends of each groove 32 communicating with the air can considerably lessen a volumen change per a unit time in separating the paper sheet from the suction cylinder 31 by the next suction hole 42 of the rotary drum 41, so as to reduce resisting force of negative pressure caused by such volume change. Thus, the stopped paper sheet can be easily separated from the suction cylinder and adsorbed to be taken out.
