    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the lightest and smallest posible damping device controlling vibrations due to lead-lag movement of a blade.
      SOLUTION: The rotor 3 for a helicopter includes a drive shaft 10 rotating around a first axis A, a hub 11 rotating angularly integrally with the drive shaft 10 around the first axis A, and at least two blades 12 projecting from the hub 11 on the opposite side to the first axis A and extending along a plurality of second axes B crosswise to the first axis A. Each blade 12 is movable with respect to the hub 11 and the other blade 12 around a third axis C crosswise to each second axis B. The rotor 3 has at least two dampers 40 for damping vibrations of each blade 12 around each third axis C. Those dampers have each first part 41 capable of moving around each third axis C integrally with each blade 12, and second portions 42; 46a, 46b elastically united to each first portion 41 and functionally united to each other.
