    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device for a motorcycle improved in appearance by accurately regulating a gap between lenses of adjacent lighting units.SOLUTION: A headlight and a turn indicator are arranged in a surface inclined against a surface orthogonal to an advancing direction of a motorcycle. A headlight housing 47 and a turn indicator housing 81 are mounted close to each other so that surfaces of a headlight outer lens 46 and a turn indicator outer lens 80 are formed continuously to each other. One of the headlight outer lens 46 and the turn indicator outer lens 80 is provided with an outside proximity part 71 extending toward the other lens along the surface thereof, and is provided with an inside proximity part 72 extending toward the other lens at a position behind the outside proximity part 71. A second gap 72a formed between the inside proximity part 72 and the other lens is set smaller than a first gap 71a formed between the outside proximity part 71 and the other lens.

A back face 9 of the housing 6 is provided with locking protrusions 20 rising in substantially parallel with the rising direction of the seal wall part 16 on the outside of the seal wall part 16, and the seal member 8 is provided with slits into which the locking protrusions 20 are inserted to generate frictional force between the slits and the locking protrusions 20.

    • PURPOSE:To permit cost cut and improve working efficiency by forming a cut groove on a sealing member and installing said sealing member by previously press-fitting the rib of said sealing member into the concaved groove of a lamp housing, when the periphery of the lamp on a chassis is sealed, thus obviating the necessity of wide seal due to counting on slippage. CONSTITUTION:A seal member 10 has a cut groove 10a in the longitudinal direction, and when a lamp L2 is installed onto a chassis B2, said seal 10 is press- fitted into the concaved groove 11 on a stepped panel 9, previously putting the cut groove 10a into a rib 12. Then, the lamp L2 is inserted from a lamp housing 8 side into an installation port 6 on the chassis B2, and pushed onto a panel 7 on the port edge part, and a sealing member 10 is compressed, and then the lamp L2 is fixed onto the chassis B2 by means of fixing screws. Thus, ribbs 14 and 15 prevents slip of the seal member 10 press-fitted into the concaved groove 11, and the rib 12 prevents bending of the seal member 10 which is generated by compression.
