    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat reduced in weight while securing rigidity and strength against a load applied thereto in a collision of the vehicle.SOLUTION: In a vehicle seat, a connection pipe 56 which serves as a rotating axis of right and left front links 58 and reinforces a seat cushion frame 46 is joined to the right and left front links 58. A closed-section bracket 80 and an open-section bracket 82 are installed cornerwise between the right and left front links 58 and the connection pipe 56, respectively. Therefore, the right and left front links 58 can be reinforced. By this, the closed-section bracket 80 which receives a compressive load in a frontal collision of the vehicle forms a closed section in cooperation with the front link 58 on the lateral outer side of the vehicle and the connection pipe 56, and secures rigidity and strength against buckling, the open-section bracket 82 which receives only tension is formed in an open section, and secures a minimum section against the tension.
