    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire condition monitoring system and a monitoring device capable of simplifying updating work of registration information associating the sensor ID of a tire condition acquisition device with a tire position.SOLUTION: A tire condition monitoring system includes a tire condition acquisition device installed in a pneumatic tire to acquire a tire condition amount, and a monitoring device which receives a wireless signal from a plurality of tire condition acquisition device to perform predetermined processing. The monitoring device sequentially designates the tire labels of the tire condition acquisition device to request inputting of the tire position of the tire condition acquisition device (steps ST1 and ST5). The monitoring device generates registration information associating tire ID with the tire position based on the input result of the tire position (step ST11).

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire information monitoring system which does not use a dedicated device for setting work, differently from a conventional tire information monitoring system, holds down manufacturing cost due to a simple constitution, and improves the efficiency of the setting work, and a method for setting the same.SOLUTION: The tire information monitoring system provided in a tire void region comprises: a transmitting device for transmitting tire information; a receiving device provided on a vehicle body for receiving the tire information from the transmitting device and determining a state of the tire based on the tire information; and a setting device for transmitting identification information and a determination condition to the receiving device so that the receiving device sets the identification information of the transmitting device and the determination condition of the tire information used for determining the state of the tire. In the setting device, communication portable terminal equipment for allowing the receiving device to set the identification information and the determination condition by means of software downloaded via an external network is used.
