    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for controlling a hybrid control servopress which controls a slide accurately and stably even when position of a slide is varied, and also to provide a method used for the same.
      SOLUTION: This method for controlling the servopress converts rotating power of a servo motor (15) to vertical movement of the slide (9) through direct movement of a ballscrew (11) in almost horizontal direction and a link device (3), thus the position of the slide is controlled. A conversion formula of a substantially positional control gain G(Y) relative to the position (Y) of the slide based on a relational expression between the position of the slide and the position of the ballscrew (11) is preliminarily stored. When the slide (9) is really controlled, the positional control gain G(Y) is corrected in accordance with the position (Y) of the slide detected based on the conversion formula of the substantially positional control gain G(Y), and command of a motor speed is calculated by deviate of the position of the slide and the corrected positional control gain G(Y), and then the servo motor (15) is controlled.
