    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamination device and lamination method in which the manufacturing time of a battery can be shortened by smoothly performing delivery of a separator.SOLUTION: A lamination device includes: cylindrical conveyance drums 310 and 320 which convey a prescribed shaped separator 40 by being rotated by holding the prescribed shaped separator 40 with outer peripheral surfaces 311; and an electrode conveyance part 200 which conveys a prescribed shaped positive electrode 22 in the tangential direction of the conveyance drums so as to be overlapped with the separator 40. A suction region A2 which is non-rotatably positioned closer to the upstream side in the rotation direction of the conveyance drum than a location where the positive electrode is installed and in which the separator is sucked, and a non-suction region A3 which is non-rotatably positioned closer to the downstream side in the rotation direction than the location where the positive electrode is installed and in which the separator is separated are demarcated corresponding to the outer peripheral surface of the conveyance drum. The outer peripheral surface delivers the separator sucked in the suction region to the non-suction region by rotation of the outer peripheral surface and the separator is detached from the outer peripheral surface to be delivered to the positive electrode, thereby sequentially laminating the positive electrode and the separator from the downstream side in the rotation direction.
