摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cloth bonding apparatus able to finely adjust an interval between a nozzle and conveying means, for conveying cloth to which adhesive is to be applied, and able to set an efficient interval when fine adjustment is unnecessary.SOLUTION: If an interval between a current nozzle and a lower belt is equal to or shorter than a set value for an interval change position for the lower belt (S13: YES), the interval between the nozzle and the lower belt displayed on a liquid crystal display is moved and changed in units of a set value (setting 3) as a lower belt adjustment interval in a setting table. For example, in case of 0.7 mm of the interval between the current nozzle and the lower belt with the corresponding lower belt adjustment interval, if a user presses a -key, "0.65" is displayed on a liquid crystal display 207. If the user presses a +key, "0.75" is displayed on the liquid crystal display. If the user presses an ENTER key after that (S16: YES), the interval between the current nozzle and the lower belt is changed to the value displayed on the liquid crystal display, and the processing is terminated.

The laser beam and the materials to be joined are moved relative to each other to produce a welded seam running in the longitudinal direction at the contact surface. A process zone (P) is provided. The material is heated continuously to the melting temperature in a preheating zone (I) by using laser beams and is melted in a melting zone (II). An Independent claim is included for polymer materials joining apparatus comprising laser beam, material pressing device, and laser beam producing devices. The laser beam shines through the upper material because of transparency of the upper material and at the contact surface with the lower material. The lower material absorbs the laser beam. The laser beam heats the materials and melts them. The material pressing device joins endless materials. The endless materials are guided through two contra-rotating rollers (17, 18). The rollers press against each other. The first roller is made from a material transparent to a laser beam. The first roller is Tubular. The second roller is made from a material that can be deformed easily at the surface. The laser beam(s) producing devices produces laser beam(s) at the contact surface arranged in the first roller.

In this device, an anti-slip guide plate is arranged on both sides of a pressing roller and the anti-slip material is welded by the pressing roller while being guided by the anti-slip guide plate. The pressing roller is hollow and the anti-slip guide plate is preferably formed so that it has a protrusion jutting out to at least the anti-slip material side from the outer peripheral face of the pressing roller. From the support part 171, a nozzle 17 is extended parallel to the top face of the mounting part 172 and on the opposite-side to the extended direction of the mounting part 172. The nozzle 17 is a flat rod-like member with the bottom face being chamfered. Inside of the nozzle 17, a flow pass through which an adhesive agent flows is formed. Also on the support part 171, a flow pass is formed. On the bottom face of the nozzle 17, a plurality of discharge openings 178 for coating cloth with an adhesive agent are aligned in the longer direction of the nozzle 17.
