    • PURPOSE:To contrive simplification and speedup of replacement work, by a method wherein a die plate on which a mold for the identification bar of a tire is formed is manufactured separately, a recessed part in which the die plate is buried is provided on the surface of a mold so that the die plate is replaced according to the variation of a kind and the other matter. CONSTITUTION:The molding part 2 of a halved state tire is formed on a mold 1 and a circular arcform recessed part 5 for burying a die plate 3 flush and securing it with screws 4 and 4 is formed on a molding face of the molding part 2 corresponding to a molding part of an identification bar. The die plate 3 is constituted with a circular arcform flat plate to be fitted in the recessed part 5, both end parts of which are provided with threaded holes 6 and 6. It is desirable that the die plate 3 is made of a metal identical with that of the mold 1 and when the die plate 3 is magnetized it can be attracted and secured by simply fitting in the recessed part. As the die plate, therefore, can be replaced according to the variation of a kind, a production lot, date of manufacture and others of a tire, it becomes unnecessary to engrave an identification bar directly on the mold and to replace the mold itself.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate malfunctioning by identifying a mold after the mounting thereof on a platen to check upon with molding conditions for control of a molding machine after a mold code is set for the mold with a discrimination switch, a jumper terminal or the like. CONSTITUTION:A mold 3 is fitted with a connection plate 4 to which a plug socket 7 incorporating jumper lines as mentioned later and an oil/water feeding coupler are mounted. Said jumper lines are arranged in different codes corresponding to the type of the mold between one jumper terminal CO and another jumper terminals a, b,...n for example as shown by the sign 22.
