    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hand-held power tool device having a non-contact electric manual switch disposed at a handle and insensitive to vibration.
      SOLUTION: In the hand-held power tool device comprising at least one handle 3 projecting laterally, insulating vibration, and rotatable around a handle pivot point G, and the manual switch 4 having an operating means 5 disposed at the handle 3, the operating means 5 is switchably connected to at least one sensor switch 8 disposed in the vicinity of the handle pivot point G in a structural unit 2 via a switching rod 7, having a switch means 6, displacable, and rotatably attached to a switch pivot point S spaced from the handle pivot point G so that it is separated from a vibration axis A, in the handle 3. Preferably, the switch pivot point S is disposed at the position which is 1/3 of the distance between the handle pivot point G and the operating means 5, a sensor switch 8 comprises a hall element and the switch means comprises a permanent magnet.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove metallic fragments generated and moving around in operation of a pavement breaker.
      SOLUTION: A hammer drill is provided with a housing, a tool holder mounted in the housing, a motor 32, slidably mounted piston 50 and ram 54, a drive mechanism for converting a rotary output of the motor 32 into a reciprocating motion of the piston 50, a beat piece 58 slidably mounted in front of the ram 54 to repetitively strike an end part 402 of a tool, a counter mass 702 slidably mounted in the housing, and energizing mechanisms 710 and 712 for energizing the counter mass 702 to a predetermined position in the housing. When the hammer drill is operated, the counter mass 702 is vibrated to reduce vibration in the housing generated by motions of the piston 50 and/or the ram 54 and/or the beat piece 58. The counter mass 702 is provided with a magnetic material.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a striking tool which effectively absorbs oscillation caused by driving a stricker.
      SOLUTION: A gear housing 30 is equipped with a movement conversion housing 31, a damping housing 32, and a striking housing 33. The damping housing 32 is located between the striking housing 33 and a motor housing 20. Inside the sub cylinder 32B of the damping housing 32, a counterweight unit 53 comprising a counterweight 50, the second spring 51, and the third spring 52 is disposed. The counterweight unit 53 is disposed on a cylinder 40 side relative to the center of gravity G of the striking tool 1. The counterweight 50 is slidably disposed inside a communication hole 32a of the damping housing 32 in the fore-and-aft direction. The sliding direction of the center of gravity of the counterweight 50 is structured so as to be positioned on the same plane as the central axis of the cylinder 40 and the rotary shaft of an output shaft 22.
