    • PURPOSE:In a tool where the outer-diameter of such as a tapered reamer will vary continously, to improve the work accuracy by forming the outer-circumferential second angle in correspondense to the variation of the outer-diameter. CONSTITUTION:An end mill 20 is equipped with an edge 22 which continuous with the shank section 21 while the diameter will vary gradually from the base end section to the tip section, where a cutter groove 24 is formed by the cutting or the grinding such that a spiral edge 23 is formed on the circumference of the cutter section with same interval. Thereafter the outer-circumferential second angle (r) is formed through the grinding. The cutter 23 is formed such that the second angle (r) between the tangential direction (a) of theorotation of the cutting tool and the diameter (D) of the cutter 23 will vary gradually in accordance to the variation of the diameter or it will increse from the large diameter end toward the small diameter end thus to stabilize the cutter mechanism in each cutter section.
