    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and easily perform centering based on an inner diameter face of a ring-like workpiece by using a collet chuck for the centering work of the rink-like workpiece in a face clamping chuck.
      SOLUTION: A draw bolt 24 is pulled, and a collet pull piece 23 is pressed into a tapered face 21a formed at a collet body 21 to enlarge the diameter of each collet piece, thus centering the inner diameter part of the ring-like workpiece W. In this state, oil pressure is applied to a right side chamber of a piston 32 in a face presser cylinder 31 to swing a presser claw 36 into a clamping position, and the workpiece W is face-clamped being clamp-fitted between a workpiece contact metal part 40 and the presser claw 36. The collet body 21 is then retreated independently into a retreat position by the draw pipe 22, and a cutting tool is inserted into the inner diameter face of the workpiece W from the surface side of the face clamping chuck and moved to the inner side to carry out cutting.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate fastening and demounting of a work independently of the distribution of the dimension of thickness of the work by pressing a swing tool through the contact between the conical top edges of three slidable pins and a spherical body and closely attaching a fastening metal onto the work. The inside diameter 3 of the work 1 is inserted into a faucet 5, and the member 20 is turned leftward, and also the fastening metal 18 is turned leftward, and the falling-off of the work 1 is prevented. When the pressing tool 11 is turned rightward, the pressing tool 11 is advanced by an inside screw 12 and presses a spherical body 13 and pushing-spreads the slidable pin 10 outward to press a swing tool 16, and therefore, the turn around an installation pin 14 is formed, and the fastening metal 18 closely attaches the edge surface 2 onto a jig independently of the distribution of the dimension C of thickness of the work 1.

    • PURPOSE:To chuck a workpiece in the ID center accurately without entailing any deformation in the workpiece to be chucked, by making variations in the inner diameter size of a chucking hole for the workpiece allowable to some extent. CONSTITUTION:A collet 36 being fitted in a hydraulic mandrel arbor 16 is expanded open, while a state of just before an outer circumferential surface of the collet and an inner circumferential surface of a chucking hole come close to each other is detected. Next, feed pressure of a cylinder 15 for operation of a mandrel arbor 16 is changed over to low pressure. With this constitution, a workpiece can be accurately centered and chucked at an ID basis of the chucking hole without entailing any deformation and chucking scratches on the workpiece. Therefore, highly accurate machining can be done even if there are some variations in inner diameter size of the chucking hole.
