摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-drilling blind riveter with which a fastening machine provided with both of a function for surely transmitting a rotating torque to a drill part at the tip part of a mandrel and a function for tearing off the mandrel by adding a little improvement to a general blind riveter having only the function for tearing off the mandrel. SOLUTION: In the blind riveter provided with a cylindrical housing 2 to the front end part of which a nose piece 7 is attached and to the rear end part of which a rotary shaft 9 is pivotally supported, and an inner cylinder body 3 which is fitted in the cylindrical housing 2 in a freely slidable manner in a shaft direction and houses a jaw 20 and its working mechanism, the nose piece 7 has a recessed curving part 14 with the front end of which the rivet head part 32 is engaged, and a plurality of quench-hardened linear projections 15 are radially projectingly provided to the vicinity of the periphery of the recessed curving part 14, a press-contact surface 15' where initial pressurizing force of the nose piece 7 acts is formed, and the transmitting function of the rotating torque to the rivet head part 22 is raised.
