    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-conductive belt the resistance values of the inner and outer peripheral faces of which are independently controlled, the resistance of the inner peripheral face of which is low whereas that of the outer peripheral face of which is high, and also to provide a fabrication method thereof, and an image forming apparatus having the electro-conductive belt.
      SOLUTION: The electro-conductive belt formed of a polyimide resin containing carbon black dispersed therein, includes: an innermost layer that contains none of the carbon black; a first conductive layer that is adjacent to the innermost layer on an outer side thereof, a concentration of the conductive particles being highest in the first conductive layer; and a second conductive layer that is adjacent to the first conductive layer on an outer side thereof, the second conductive layer containing the conductive particles in a concentration lower than in the first conductive layer and higher than in the innermost layer. The fabrication method thereof, and the image forming apparatus using the electro-conductive belt as an intermediate transfer belt are also provided.
