摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for synthesizing a high-quality polymer from a raw material in a molten state.
SOLUTION: A lactide sent from a lactide feeder 1 is heated and melted in a lactide-melting apparatus 2, and a catalyst is added to the lactide by a catalyst feeder 3. The molten lactide is supplied to a horizontal reaction tank 5 through a lactide feeder 4 and flows through the reaction tank by utilizing a head difference during progress of polymerization reaction. A discharged reaction liquid is supplied to the upper part of a vertical reaction tank 6 and flows through the tank by utilizing gravity during progress of polymerization reaction. Then, the reaction liquid is sent to a residual lactide-removing apparatus 7 to have unreacted lactide removed and subsequently discharged.

In the liquid passing ports 52A to F, the height from the lowest part of the autoclave to the center of gravity of the liquid passing port door is 0.1 to 0.3 times the diameter of the autoclave, and they are installed in the position in which the distance from the central line of each partition to the center of gravity of the liquid passing port door is 0.05 to 0.25 times the diameter of the autoclave, and have a shape of not reaching the edge parts of the partition.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for mixing a water-absorbing resin with a surface-cross-linking agent-containing solution by suppressing the formation of aggregated substances. SOLUTION: This method for mixing the water-absorbing resin with the surface-cross-linking agent-containing solution is provided by mixing them in a spade type mixer having an inner wall, a spade-shaped agitating blade and a crushing blade formed by a base material having ≥60° contact angle against water and ≥70°C thermal distortion temperature. Since the formation of the aggregated substances is less, later crushing is not required and it is possible to produce the water-absorbing resin having less amount of fine powder caused by the crushing.
