    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cord-reel assembly for electric devices which can solve inconvenience that a user has to continuously pressurize the operation lever until the cord is completely wound when the cord for supplying a power source is wound.
      SOLUTION: This cord-reel assembly includes a cord-reel body 41 for winding the cord, a brake member 60 which can be selectively brought into contact with the cord-reel body 41, a manipulation lever 50 having a coupling part 51 which is moved between a first position at which the brake member 60 is brought into contact with the cord-reel body 41 and a second position at which the brake member 60 is spaced from the cord-reel body 41 by the manipulation of the user, a resilient member 70 for elastically biasing the manipulation lever 50 so that the coupling part 51 is moved to the first position, and a damper unit 80 which interferes with the movement of the coupling part 51 so that the returning speed of the coupling part 51 which is returned to the first position is reduced by the resilient member 70.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner, not only cooling various radiating parts by causing diversion of the air flow passed through an exhaust filter, but also reducing noise.
      SOLUTION: This vacuum cleaner includes: a body; a motor assembly installed in the inside of the body and having a motor for generating sucking force; an exhaust filter provided in the rear part in the body for filtering the air passed through the motor assembly to remove fine foreign matter; and a guide member for guiding some of air passed through the exhaust filter to the inside of the body. Thus, this vacuum cleaner can not only reduce noise but also cool the radiating parts in the vacuum cleaner by utilizing the air passed through the exhaust filter.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user-friendly vertical vacuum cleaner structured so that respective center lines passing through the gravities of an electric blower, a cord reel and a dust-collecting part which compose a vacuum cleaner body, are placed on the almost center line in the longitudinal direction of the vacuum cleaner body.SOLUTION: The vertical vacuum cleaner is structured as follows: an motor fan 11 is housed in the lower side of the cleaner; a cord reel 15 is set up above the motor fan 11; a dust-collection part 16 communicating to the motor fan 11 is provided above the cord reel 15; and in the vacuum cleaner body 10 provided with an operation handle 19 used for operation and also usable as an extension pipe 18, the motor fan 11, the code reel 15 and the dust-collection part 16 are disposed on the almost center line 13 of the vacuum cleaner body 10 when the vacuum cleaner body 10 is made upright. Such a structure improves stability of the vacuum cleaner body and usability of the handle and a knob part when carried.

      SOLUTION: The vacuum cleaner includes a dust collecting case for introducing the air containing the dust which has been sucked by an electric blower, a suction port 6 for introducing the air containing the dust in the tangential direction, and a dust storing portion on the other end side of the suction port 6, wherein an opening 321 is provided at a part of a third dust eliminating filter 28, and a dust chamber 322 which stores fine dust 51 removed by a second dust removing means 191 and which is partitioned inside the dust storing portion, is formed below this opening 321. Thus, the fine dust 51 is separated from coarse dust and stored in the dust chamber 322, for further reducing the re-swirling quantity of the fine dust during the operation, preventing from being stuck again to the dust eliminating filter by swirling of the fine dust 51, preventing clogging of the dust eliminating filter and reduction in suction air flow, so that performance of maintaining the suction ability is excellent.
