The characteristics of the above-mentioned mixture are exactly recognized by preparing said mixture with the basic fluid water volume as an index.

CONSTITUTION:With respect to the method for reducing the salt content of fine aggregate such as sea sand, a water chamber 22 is formed at the lower part of a cylindrical body 21 constituting a classifier 2 in the preliminary washing mechanism, and raw sand 1 is agitated by fresh water continuously supplied into the water chamber 22. The raw sand 1 is received by a hopper 34 in the primary dehydration mechanism, and discharged into a rotary dehydrator by the air from a blower 31 of a dehydration cylinder 32. The sand is collided with the vertical plane of the rotary dehydrator, rebounded, and splashed in the umbrella, the raw sand 1 and foreign matter such as sludge are separated, and muddy water 4 contg. salt is discharged from fine holes. Finally, the raw sand 1 is collided with a rotating roller 51 in the secondary dehydration mechanism, and dehydrated. The salt content is effectively reduced in this way.
