    • PURPOSE: To identify anesthetic gas by setting a filter or a plurality of continuous transmission bands within 1.5 to 0.4% of average transmission wavelength and making the rays reaching the filter have an angle of incidence of 10 to 60 degrees. CONSTITUTION: After passing through a measuring chamber 1, a plurality of rays pass through a pre-filter 6, where the excessive transmission region of a measuring filter is removed. A transmission band is within 1.5 to 0.4% of average transmission wavelength, the rays reaching a filter 7 have an angle of incidence of 10 to 60 degrees, and measurement within the range is made at two or more angles. A radiation non-transmission region 9 is formed at one end or both ends of the filter 7, and in order to prevent radiation from reaching a radiation detector 10, the non-transmission region 9 turns so as to block the track of radiation coming from a radiation source. The radiation coming passing through the filter 7 is restricted using a hole 11 so that the intensity of incoming radiation may be decreasing according to the angle of the filter. It is thus possible to identify one type or more anesthetic gas and another gas.

The object P and the frame F is furthermore surrounded by a gradient coil GC in order to generated gradient magnetic field whose strength is controlled by a NMR spectrum instrument NMRS through a gradient power source G. The NMRS also controls radio a frequency transmitter ESRE and the ESRE saturates material contained in the reference area of the frame F and emits NMR signal and generates saturation energy to saturate the relaxation electronic spin system and the NMRS is provided with a radio frequency element to generate NMR signal through an antenna means A and receive it, and an image is displayed on a display D.
