摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side rudder which is favorable from the viewpoint of the flow following the stern shape of a tapered stern of a ship.SOLUTION: The side rudder is twisted so as to be adaptable to the formation of water flow in an area at the ship stern, i.e., at the assembly position of the rudder. The twist of the side rudder is adapted to the mode of the water flow in the area of respective side rudders when a screw in rotation is not arranged on the front side of the side rudder in the advancing direction of the ship. In other words, when the installation of the side rudder is set correctly straight with respect to the advancing direction, the angle of the flow entering the side rudder is correctly 0°.
