    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for recovery of a puncture repair liquid which enable an operation of recovering a puncture repair liquid efficiently without cutting a tire valve.
      SOLUTION: The recovery method uses an apparatus for recovering a puncture repair liquid which includes a tube 10 inserted into a tire 1 from a tire valve 3 attached to a wheel 2 and having at least such a length as to reach the inside surface of the tire and a pipe member 30 with one end 31 connected to the tire valve 3 and the other end 32 connected to a pressurized air supply source 20. The method includes: removing a valve core from the tire valve 3 of the wheel 2 of the tire 1 injected with a puncture repair liquid 4; inserting the tube 10 into the tire 1 through the tire valve 3; connecting the end 31 of the pipe member 30 to the tire valve 3, connecting the pressurized air supply source 20 to the end 32 of the pipe member 20; filling the tire 1 with air from the pressurized air supply source 30, removing the pressurized air supply source 20 from the end 32 of the pipe member 30; and recovering the puncture repair liquid 4 within the tire 1 from the end 32 of the pipe member 30 by utilizing the action of the pressure escaping from the inside of the tire 1.
