    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding substrate for a portable grinder which has a simple structure and can be manufactured at a low price, and by which grinding work can be performed definitely and stably. SOLUTION: The grinding substrate (5) can be detachably interposed between a head (4) and a grinding body (6) of the portable grinder. The grinding substrate (5) is formed of single plastic moldings made of the same materials and based on the structure, it is constituted that hardness in the periphery is lower than that of a substrate body other than the periphery. A difference in hardness between the substrate body and the periphery is adjusted by irregular surfaces formed on the surface of the fixed side with the head of the portable grinder.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hook and loop fastener made from fibers which is provided with sufficient adhesive performance to various members to be fitted, not having adhesive performance with the base fabric of a hook and loop fastener, only by a weaving and knitting process and a finishing process being the same as those of a normal hook and loop fastener made from the fibers, and by which a stable shape is obtained in the hook and loop fastener.
      SOLUTION: Warp other than pile yarn (15, 115) for engaging elements formed on one surface of the base fabric (S) being a part of yarn lines constituting the base fabric includes first warp (11, 12, 111) and second warp (13, 113) different in material quality. The second warp (13, 113) includes the yarn lines with high adhesive performance with the member (20) to be fitted to the hook and loop fastener made from the fibers (10, 110). At the same time, the second warp (13, 113) are exposed to cover at least the partial area of the other surface of the base fabric (S) without the pile yarn for the engaging elements (16, 116) formed thereon. It is preferable that partial warp (12) of the first warp (11, 12) is provided with adhesive performance with other yarn lines other than the second warp (13, 113) and provided with a lower melting point than those of the other whole yarn lines.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a formed hook-and-loop fastener and a device and a method of forming the same, easy in maintenance and control, high in productivity and easy in forming of an engaging element, having new configuration and physical property which have not be seen in a conventional engaging element, on the side of one surface of a substrate. The extruding nozzle is provided with a plurality of engaging element forming openings 105b, arranged in the widthwise direction of the same with the same pitch. Molten resin, extruded from the extruding die onto the peripheral surface of the cooling drum, is passed through the resin flow passage and is cooled, then, is extruded out of the extruding nozzle under half-molten condition and, simultaneously, forms engaging elements 12, whose thickness in the forming direction of the same is increased gradually downward, sequentially while opening and closing the openings 105b for forming the engaging elements by a vertical vibration means 106, vibrated up-and-down.
