    • PURPOSE:To ensure the operation stroke of a plunger without enlarging a housing in the vertical direction by placing at least two plunger mechanisms moving in connection with a pressure receiving mechanism side by side. CONSTITUTION:A pressure switch 1 has a pressure receiving mechanism provided in a pressure receiving chamber 5 and expanding and contracting in response to gas pressure through a pressure introducing opening 2a formed in a protection cap 2. The pressure receiving mechanism includes a bellows 7, first and second plungers 8, 9 acting as two plunger mechanisms forced to move in the direction of height (the vertical direction) in connection with the displacement of the bellows 7, and first and second switch mechanisms 10, 11 being opened and closed in accordance with the vertical movements of the plungers 8 and 9 respectively. Thus, the full length of the pressure switch can be shorter than that when the two plunger mechanisms are placed in the vertical direction and the operation stroke of the plunger is sufficiently ensured without enlarging a housing in the vertical direction.

    • PURPOSE:To downsize a seismoscope and also improve reliability and response irrespective of inclination of an installed posture and a direction of vibration by converting vertical motion with pendulum vibration converted into an electric signal and also automatically maintaining a vibration sensor horizontal. CONSTITUTION:When specified or more vibration is applied, a pendulum 8 performs pendulous motion, and this is converted into vertical motion by a motion conversion mechanism C, which is further converted into an electric signal in a switch mechanism D. Therefore length of the pendulum 8 can be irrespective of setting of acting acceleration, so that it is not necessary to increase its length whereby a seismoscope can be entirely downsized in both horizontal and vertical directions. In addition even if a case A is slantly installed, an automatic horizontal mechanism F functions to automatically maintain a seismoscope part E horizontal and also its mechanism F is damped via a damper part G whereby a fluctuation in vibration values and operation deviation due to the damping can be reduced. The mechanism C is pivoted with its disc top part swingable by a bearing metal of an inner base 9, and vertical motion conversion is done on a magnetic movable disk 12 of a magnet 11 attraction.

When an input wave such as a seismic wave is detected by the detector, a plurality of waveform data featuring attributes of the input wave to be detected are extracted by the characteristic amount extracting unit, and the estimating unit weights the waveform data extracted by the characteristic amount extracting unit to discriminate the attributes of the input wave by execution of fuzzy inference, so that highly accurate discrimination of the input wave is possible.

CONSTITUTION:A pendulum weight 2 is placed in a case 1 and moves horizontally. A movement conversion mechanism unit 3 converts horizontal movement of the pendulum weight 2 into vertical movement. The vertical movement of the pendulum weight 2, which has been converted by the movement conversion mechanism unit 3, is detected by a sensor 4. The movement conversion mechanism unit 3 comprises a circular hug part 9A formed on the upper end of a hanging axis 9 of the pendulum weight 2 and a circular seat 11b which is provided on the case 1 side and in contact with the circular part of the hung part 9A for supporting the pendulum weight 2 in a hanging state, and this converts horizontal movement of the pendulum weight 2 into vertical rocking movement with a contact point between the circular part of the hung part 9A and the circular seat 11b as a pivot R.

    • PURPOSE:To offer a seismoscope which need not be equipped with an automatic leveling mechanism and a horizontal adjusting function and displays stable operation characteristics by providing a spherical sphere receiving surface for supporting a sphere movably and a cylindrical plunger which has a larger diameter than the sphere. CONSTITUTION:If a case 1 and a base 12 slant when fitted to an instrument, the steel sphere 3 moves on the spherical sphere receiving surface 2 by a distance l to a vertical line a-a, but does not abut on the cylindrical plunger part 4A of the plunger 4, so the speed and impact force required to operate the plunger 4 are not reached and the operation characteristics of the seismoscope are hardly affected. In this slantingly fitted state, if vibration which is larger than specified is applied, the steel sphere 3 rolls and moves on the spherical receiving surface 2 to collide against the cylindrical plunger part 4A of the plunger 4 and then the actuator 5 is rocked by its impact force to enter vibration sensing operation.

CONSTITUTION:A suspension shaft body 16 rockably supports a seismoscopic case 7 at its lower section, and the length between the rotation center Q of the case 7 and the spherical center P1 of a spherical body 13 becomes the rotation length L of the case 7 without being affected by the length of the suspension shaft body 16. When the fitting apparatus 1 of a seismoscope is slantly fitted, the rotation radius of the spherical center P1 of the spherical body 13 is made shorter by the quantity corresponding to the length of the shaft body 16, and the displacement length of the spherical center P1 of the spherical body 13 in the lateral direction is made shorter by the length nearly corresponding to the inclination of the shaft body 16. The whole device is miniaturized, and the seismoscope excellent in flexibility can be obtained.
