    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of music preparation by saving operation labor such as user operation for inserting a plug-in effect to an added channel and user operation for setting its parameter when the channel of a mixer is newly added at the time of using the plug-in effect on the music processing software.
      SOLUTION: A program for the music processing software is provided with a mixer function of audio waveform data. A channel to be registered for the default setting is designated from among a plurality of the channels 40. The effect selected and set regarding the designated channel 40 and its parameter (a code 45) are stored as default data. The effect and parameter indicated by the default data are automatically set regarding a channel to be newly added.

CONSTITUTION: Plural DSPs 1 to 4 are parallelly installed to divide a series of arithmetic processing-synthesis or processing of aimed sound into plural processing sections and to make these DSPs share the processing. When conducting sound signal processing in a time sharing manner through plural channels, time-sharing channel timing of each DSP is independently established. And, by setting synchronous sound production designation data for every channel, synchronous sound production is controlled in plural arbitrary channels.

Consequently, the processing can be made at a high speed, and a joint ownership of the data and the program for each system is realized.
