摘要： PURPOSE:To monitor the state of a displaying by executing the two-way transmission of VHF frequency band using one coaxial cable to facilitate the transmission control for plural video signals and the display picture control of plural television receivers, and receiving response signals from respective terminal converters. CONSTITUTION:The terminal converter 49 consisting of a modem 42, a terminal CPU, a converter, selects a specific channel in a television signal transmitted from a head end equipment under the command from a central CPU 41, to convert it to two channels of VHF. The television receiver 50 is fixed in a two-channel-receiving state, and receives and displays the television signal selected by the terminal converter 49. The converter 49, further, has addresses to identify the respective television receivers 50. The central CPU 41 sequentially polls the converters 49 to control the displayed picture, and at the same time receives the response signals from the converters 49 to monitor the operational state of them.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present a food supply service menu to an inpatient by use of data broadcast of digital terrestrial broadcasting and an in-hospital CATV system, and to easily implement a food supply service questionnaire. SOLUTION: In this in-hospital CATV system, the digital terrestrial broadcasting is received in a head end device 15, transmission is performed to a set-top box 25 of each hospital room via an in-hospital CATV main line 22, and a video of the digital terrestrial broadcasting is displayed on a video monitor 27. In the in-hospital CATV system, a category of each patient is set by a food supply service management personal computer 14 or the like provided in a management center, and a plurality of food supply service menu videos are created by the categories and are transmitted to the set-top box 25 by use of the data broadcast of an independent program in the head end device 15. The set-top box 25 selects the food supply service menu according with category information based on the category information of the patient, displays it on the video monitor 27, and transmits selection information of the food supply service menu selected by the patient to a management center 10 as an answer of the food supply service questionnaire. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to remotely control a remote controller attachment attached to a head end device from a remote place by using a CATV system. SOLUTION: Each of remote parts 1a and the like is provided with a transceiver 11, an operating machine 3 and a monitor device 4. The transceiver 11 consists of an incoming modulator 13 and an outgoing demodulator 14 and is connected to a head end device 20 provided with controlled equipments 21a and the like and controllers 22a and the like trough a two-way CATV transmission line 5. Each controller 22 consists of an infrared emission part 31, an incoming demodulator 33 and an outgoing modulator 34. The outgoing demodulator 33 demodulates an incoming signal of prescribed frequency and drives the infrared emission part 31 to drive a controlled equipment. An output from the controlled equipment is modulated by the outgoing modulator 34 and sent to the remote part. When a request is outputted from one of the remote parts 1a and the like a control device 23 informs the remote part of the set frequency of an idle controlled equipment 21 and sets the operation frequency of the incoming modulator 13 and the outgoing demodulator 14.
