    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and smoothly insert a bush into a branch port in a non-hitched or less-hitched condition while putting the elastic coating layer of the bush in sufficient close contact with the inner peripheral face of the branch port.
      SOLUTION: In this method, the bush 6 having the elastic coating layer 12 formed on a portion in contact with the inner peripheral face of the branch port is externally mounted on a diameter enlarging elastic body 45 of a bush mount D. As a pressing portion 44 is moved relatively closer to receiving portion 43 in the condition that the bush 6 is inserted into the branch port, the diameter enlarging elastic body 45 is swollen and deformed outward to the radial direction, whereby the bush 6 is deformed in a diameter-enlarged manner and mounted on the inner peripheral face of the branch port in the anti-come-off condition. When the bush 6 before inserted into the branch port is temporarily held, the pressing portion 44 is moved relatively closer to the receiving portion 43 and part of the diameter enlarging elastic body 45 is swollen and deformed in all peripheral area outward to the radial direction between the front end of the bush 6 and the pressing portion 44 until a level difference formed between the outer peripheral face of the diameter enlarging elastic body 45 and the front end of the bush 6 becomes smaller in all peripheral area.
