    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rope fixture capable of fixing a rope further simply with high workability.SOLUTION: A rope fixture 1 includes a fixing part 10 for fixing a rope 3. A first groove 100, a second groove 200 and a guide groove 300 are formed on the fixing part 10. In the first groove 100, both end parts in an extension direction are opened and the rope 3 is engaged. In the second groove 200 formed on a position different from that of the first groove 100, both end parts in an extension direction are opened and the rope 3 is engaged. The guide groove 300 is formed from one end part of the extension direction of the first groove 100 to one end part of the extension direction of the second groove 200 to guide the rope 3.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear tooth flank polishing agent capable of easily achieving the precise and uniform tooth flank finish (polishing) of a driving system gear at low cost, and also effectively achieving the same from the viewpoint of the resource saving, energy saving and environmental protection, and a polishing method using the same. SOLUTION: A polishing agent 2 containing volcanic ash 7 mainly consisting of silica and alumina, lubricating oil 8 and oil clay 9, having plasticity, and freely flowable when the external force is applied thereto is filled in a cylinder 1. A gear 3 is moved in the polishing agent 2, or the polishing agent 2 is allowed to flow while the gear 3 is fixed.
