    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent variation in a supplied amount of a sheet, which might be caused when switching an old sheet roll to a new one for supplying the sheet to a crusher.
      SOLUTION: An absorber manufacturing device comprises: a sheet-supply mechanism to pull the sheet out from a sheet roll of the rolled up sheet; the crusher to crush the sheet into fibrous substance by scratching the pulled-out sheet end; and a fiber-stacking machine to laminate the fibrous substance delivered from the crusher and to form an absorber of a predetermined shape. The absorber manufacturing device has two sheet-supply mechanisms at least. The both sheet-supply mechanisms supply the crusher with the sheet over a predetermined period when switching the supply to the crusher from one sheet-supply mechanism to the other one. The predetermined period includes a period to decelerate a speed of pulling the sheet out by the one of the sheet-supply mechanisms. The other sheet-supply mechanism accelerates the speed of pulling the sheet out in response to the decelerating period.
