    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosetting oxetane composition excellent in rapid curability and its cured material excellent in mechanical properties.
      SOLUTION: The thermosetting oxetane composition comprises (A) an oxetane compound, (B) a curing agent selected from the group consisting of an organic carboxylic acid, an organic carboxylic acid anhydride, and an organic carboxylate, and (C) a rare earth Lewis acid as a curing catalyst. Further a cured material is provided by curing the oxetane composition. The thermosetting oxetane composition cures sufficiently at a low temperature and in a short time with a high curing velocity, and the cured material is excellent in mechanical strength (e.g. tensile strength, elasticity, surface hardness, and bending strength), and durability (e.g. solvent resisitance and weather resisitance).
