A dose is 1-5,000mg/day/adult in oral administration and 3-1/10 the dose of oral administration in the case of parenteral administration. The therapeutic agent is effective for collagen diseases such as systemic lupus erythematosus and rheumatoid arthritis, demyelinating diseases such as multiplesclerosis and encephalitis after vaccine seeding and autoimmune diseases such as autoimmune hemolytic anemia, chronic thyreoiditis and Hashimoto disease.

Since the autoreactive T cell clone is capable of manifesting enhancing action on anti-DNA antibody production in vitro, the screening of therapeutic agents for the SLE can be carried out by using the suppressing action on the enhancing action on the autoantibody production as an index.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a low-toxic, highly safe therapeutic agent free from any side effect, useful for treating intractable angiitis such as malignant arthrorheumatism, including a specific hydantoin derivative. SOLUTION: This therapeutic agent including, as effective ingredient, a hydantoin derivative of the formula (R1 and R2 are each H, an alkyl, or the like; X and Y are each H, OH, an alkoxy, or the like) (e.g. 1-methylhydantoin) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, is obtained. This agent is pref. a therapeutic agent for malignant arthrorheumatism. The compound of the formula can be made into medicaments through combination with relevant supports or diluents, and can be manufactured into pharmaceutical preparations as oral agents including tablets and capsules or as parenteral agents including hypodermic injections and intravenous injections; the oral agents can also be combined with additives (e.g. vehicles including lactic acid, binders including gum arabic, disintegrants including cornstarch). The daily dose of the compound of the formula is pref. 5-600 mg/adult in terms of the active ingredient for oral administration.

Moreover, the activated immunoglobulin is administed in one to several times a week and a dose of 5-150mg is preferable.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new activated immunoglobulin imparted with pharmacological activity and useful as an agent such as an eosinophil suppressing agent, immunomodulator, antiinflammatory agent for the treatment of autoimmune disease and anti-allergic agent. SOLUTION: This activated immunoglobulin is produced by mixing an immunoglobulin with preferably 0.075-75μg of a histamine component based on 1g of the immunoglobulin and removing the histamine component from the mixture. The immunoglobulin used as a raw material is produced from serum, placenta plasma, etc., by conventional method. The contamination with hepatitis virus and AIDS virus is prevented by using the raw material plasma negative to HBS antigen, HCV antibody and HIV antibody and heat-treating the raw material. The mixing of the immunoglobulin with the histamine component is preferably carried out by dissolving both components in an aqueous solution such as water or physiological saline and stirring the mixture at room temperature or leaving standing the mixture after stirring. The removal of the histamine component is easily carried out by dialysis, gel-filtration, etc.
