摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound useful as an effective ingredient of a pharmaceutical composition, particularly an antihistamine drug or the like, which is an aminopropylidene derivative having excellent histamine receptor antagonistic action.SOLUTION: There is provided an aminopropylidene derivative having potent histamine receptor antagonistic activity. Further the compound has preferable characteristics from a standpoint of ameliorating central nervous system side-effects such as sleepiness, since it exhibits low migration behavior into a brain in an intracerebral receptor binding test by administering orally to a mouse. Accordingly, the aminopropylidene derivative is very useful as an effective ingredient of a pharmaceutical composition, such as a new antihistamine drug, which hardly causes the central nervous system side-effects such as sleepiness.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the high-sensitivity and practical measuring method of 5-hydroxycreatinine that is useful as the inspection method for kidney functional disorders or the like. SOLUTION: The measuring method of 5-hydroxycreatine features the use of a separation solvent having a pH of 4.1-4.6 in high-speed liquid chromatography, using a strong acid cation exchange resin. The measurement method is a very high sensitivity measuring method, as compared to the conventional methods, where detection sensitivity is 0.02 μM for measuring even 5- hydroxycleatinine level in the blood of able-bodied humans. Also, a single separation medium may be used, and a analysis time is approximately one cycle 14 minutes per case, which is faster than the conventional method. A set of HPLC is able to process 100 cases per day, so that the measuring method is a very efficient and useful one for achieving practicality, that cannot be achieved by the conventional methods.

SOLUTION: This scavenger contains a hydantoin derivative of the formula (R1 and R2 are each H, an alkyl or a cycloalkyl; X and Y are each H, an alkyl, OH or an alkoxy, or X and Y together form an oxo group) or its salt as an active component. As an example of a compound of the formula, 5- hydroxy-1-methylhydantoin is cited. The scavenger is effective for the treatment of various kinds of diseases such as myocardial infarction, reperfusion damage, cerebral infarction, autoimmune disease, fibrosis, pulmonary disease, skin disease. arthritis, side effect of an anticancer agent, radiation hazard, bacterial shock, inflammatory disease and cataract. The scavenger has little side effect and can be easily formulated. The daily dose of the scavenger for adult is 1-1000mg, preferably 5-600mg of the active component in oral administration. The dose in the case of parenteral administration, e.g., in the case of an injection, is sufficiently from a third to a tenth of the dose in oral administration.

Since an aqueous solution of the silicate has a high pH, preferably the aqueous solution is adjusted to pH2-10, especially pH4-9.5 with an acid such as hydrochloric acid or sulfuric acid. Preferably the aqueous solution is previously mixed with a saccharide such as lactose or mannitol. The aqueous solution may previously be mixed with a salt such as common salt or potassium chloride.
