    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lane change supporter capable of determining the necessity of a support for changing a lane even just before the other vehicle moves to a lane to which the car is to be moved.
      SOLUTION: This lane change supporter acquires the state of the turn indication of a turn indicator of a vehicle through an in-vehicle information receiving part 1, acquires the state of the turn indications of the turn indicators of the other vehicles around the vehicle through an inter-vehicle communication part 3 and a vehicle periphery monitoring part 4, and changes the lane in the direction indicated by the state of the turn indication of the vehicle acquired by a periphery information administration part 5 and a vehicle periphery state predictive part 6. The lane change supporter determines whether the support is required or not by the comparison thereof with the states of the turn indications of the other vehicles.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system and a base place estimation method which can improve the convenience thereof by enabling highly accurate estimation of the base place of a vehicle.SOLUTION: An arrival/departure point including the start point from which a vehicle 100 has started and an arrival point at which the vehicle having started from the start point has arrived is recorded, and the information relating to the recorded arrival/departure point is sequentially stored in a storage device 220 of a center 200. A base place estimation section 232 constituting the center 200 estimates the start point which has relatively high distribution of arrival points diverged from common start points as the base place of the vehicle 100, which is stored as an arrival/departure point in the storage device 220. The base place estimation section 232 transmits the base place information indicating the latitude and longitude of the estimated base place to the vehicle 100 through a center communication equipment 130.
