    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a correction method in which each phase current of an inverter is detected precisely and an abnormal current value is detected without causing step-out. SOLUTION: In a polyphase inverter provided with a switching element in each phase, combined current of respective phase currents of the inverter is detected, current value of every phase current is specified based on switching state of the switching element for the combined current, an ideal current value is calculated for at least two phase currents thus specified, ideal current value and measured current value of current phase current are compared for every phase and the error value is calculated, the error value is processed through a low-pass filter and held as a current error low-pass value, the current error low-pass value is added to the ideal current value if the absolute error value of every phase is larger than the current error low-pass value and the current error low-pass value of every phase is positive, the current error low-pass value is subtracted from the ideal current value and employed in place of the measured current value if the absolute error value of every phase is larger than the current error low-pass value and the current error low-pass value of every phase is negative. When the calculated discharge amount Qx of liquid refrigerant is equal to or larger than the preset reference amount Qo, the main control computer C1 switches from the three-phase modulation control to two-phase modulation control.
