    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: when using a plurality of touch sensors, if a long lead wire having a large number of corners is used, attenuation of a detected signal becomes remarkably more than the case of using a short lead wire having a small number of corners, accordingly, the signal received by a detecting circuit greatly varies for every pad, and the touch sensor has to be designed so as to compensate the difference between signal levels.
      SOLUTION: This touch sensor includes a first conductive electrode pad 16 having a closed and continuous geometric form, and a second conductive electrode 18 which is spaced from a channel 20 and almost surrounds the first electrode because they are on the common plane, and the first and second electrodes are disposed on the same, flat, and lower surface of a substrate. An active electrical component 26 such as a transistor is disposed on the substrate adjacently to the first and second electrodes, and is coupled to the first and second electrodes.
