摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain valve for a toilet bowl flushing tank that can stably discharge sufficient toilet bowl flushing water, hardly causing the decrease of toilet bowl flushing water even if a storage water level in the toilet bowl flushing tank is set low. SOLUTION: The drain valve 1 for the toilet bowl flushing tank comprises a valve support shaft 4 supported in the tank 52 so as to be liftable; a valve element 4v provided at the outer periphery near the lower end; a valve seat 30 arranged in a through hole 52c of a bottom 52b; a control tank 2 with a control hole 2a formed at the bottom 2b to delay the seating of the valve element 4v on the valve seat 30; and a float 3 stored to be floatable and sinkable in a water storage chamber 2w in the control tank 2 to cooperate with the valve support shaft 4. The control tank 2 and the float 3 are formed in laterally-long elliptic shapes in a plan view, and a clearance of a plan view shape widened on a side laterally away from the center of the valve support shaft 4 is formed between the inner peripheral surface 2c of the control tank 2 and the outer peripheral edge 3c of the float 3.
