    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting fixture which can be made compact by making the lamp image less conspicuous.
      SOLUTION: The fixture body 21 is installed on the hook ceiling 12 through an adapter 13. The convex of an insertion part 63 of a lamp holder 61 fitted with annular fluorescent lamps 51, 52 is contacted to the recess of the insertion hole 36 and engaged and inserted in the holder fitting part 33 of a reflector 31 from the bottom side, and the locking pawl 66 is locked to the inside of the locking recess 39, and fitted. The reflecting cover 87 is fitted to the center of the fixture body 21 and a shade 46 is fitted to the fixture body 21. The annular fluorescent lamp 51 of large diameter is opposed to the reflecting face portion 35 in outer periphery direction and reflects the light from the annular fluorescent lamp 51 in the outer peripheral direction, and the annular fluorescent lamp 52 of small diameter reflects in the outer peripheral direction at the center reflecting face portion 88 of the reflecting cover 87. Even if the annular fluorescent lamps 51, 52 are made of narrow shape having a large optical output per unit area, the lamp image through the shade 46 can be made small.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent lamp and an illumination fixture preventing the reduction of brightness by suppressing temperature rise at the coldest part.
      SOLUTION: A fluorescent lamp 1 comprises a ring-like bulb 3 of which the inner face is applied with phosphors, rear gas and mercury charged in the bulb 3, a pair of electrodes sealed both ends of a discharge path of the bulb 3, and a base 11 disposed over both ends of the discharge path and partially formed of resin or metal with a high thermal conductivity and a high heat releasing property. Since a part of the base 11 is partially formed of the resin or the metal with the high thermal conductivity and high heat releasing property, the heat of the bulb 3 is transmitted to a part 52 of the base 11 with high thermal conductivity and high heat releasing property and released well into air and the lamp 1 is kept in appropriate temperature, so that the lamp 1 can be lighted in a state with a high efficiency.
