    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor for a dynamo-electric machine capable of reducing a torque ripple, an iron loss and a higher harmonic, suppressing the generation of a resistance by the rotation of the rotor and improving efficiency, and the dynamo-electric machine.
      SOLUTION: The rotor 3 for the dynamo-electric machine has a rotor core 11, a plurality of magnet-inserting hole sections 13 formed at a specified interval in the peripheral direction of the outer peripheral section of the rotor core 11, permanent magnets 14 for forming magnetic poles inserted and fixed to these magnet-inserting hole sections 13 respectively and an outer-peripheral hole section 18 formed in the outer peripheral section of the rotor core 11. A range in the peripheral direction of the rotor core 11 of the outer-peripheral hole section 18 continues from a place having an electrical angle ϕ
      1 to a (d) axis to a place having an angle higher than the electrical angle ϕ
      2 to the (d) axis and being adjacent to a (q) axis. The opening area of the outer-peripheral hole section 18 is formed successively so as to increase towards the (q)-axis side from the place having the electrical angle ϕ

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide insulating paper between the same phases which can insulate unit coils from one each other in a simple structure and also can suppress cost increase due to an increase in working man-hour or material cost.SOLUTION: The insulating paper 11 between the same phases is composed of a pair of insulating paper bodies 12 and a coupling link 13 which connects the insulating paper bodies 12 with each other. At this time, the insulating paper body 12 has at least a width W that is larger than the thickness of the winding section of each unit coil, and also has a height H that is larger than the height of the winding section projecting outward in its radial direction from the end face 2a of a stator core 2, thereby having a form which can insulate adjacent unit coils. The insulating paper 11 between the same phases has such positional relation that the pair of insulating paper bodies 12 catches the stator core 2 from both sides in its axial direction when the coupling link 13 is inserted into a slot 6, whereby it insulates the unit coils from each other at both ends of the stator core 2.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a testing method for accurately detecting the contact state between unit coils composing stator coils in each phase.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a permanent magnet electric motor includes: a coil mounting step (step 1) of inserting a U-phase coil, a V-phase coil and a W-phase coil into a stator core; a neutral point connecting step (step 2) for forming a neutral point by swage connecting the stator coils of each phase; and a step of performing an in-phase coil impulse discharge test (step 3) for detecting the insulation state between the unit coils of each stator coil. In this impulse discharge test, the insulation abnormality between the unit coils is detected by applying an impulse voltage to stator coils of each phase and by detecting the presence or absence of the occurrence of the partial discharge between the unit coils. Thereafter, a step of forming an electric source terminal (step 4) and a step of conducting an electric test (step 5) for examining the insulation to the earth are performed.
