In the event that the permanent computer 10 stops functioning or fails, a temporary computer 60 is connected to the generation monitoring and controlling system 1, thereby it is made possible to transfer signals indicating the device information and limited operating information between the temporary controller 60 and the field device 30n to perform part of the monitoring and controlling of the field device 30n.
