    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a file management system capable of deleting files in a short period of time even though there exist numerous files in a file system.
      SOLUTION: A start determination processing section 31 examines whether or not any of data quantity and the total number of files exceed their threshold. A threshold time determination processing section 32 obtains certain time at which both of data quantity and the number of files become below the threshold if files in which their final usage time is before the certain time are all deleted among the files in the file system in the case of the former. A file deletion processing section 33 deletes the files in which their final usage time is before the certain time. Quick file deletion processing is available, since data quantity and the total number of files are used together as a criterion for determination of file deletion.
