    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a charge/discharge power throughput while ensuring flexibility of installation location.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, a power conversion device in a system having an energy management device and a plurality of power conversion devices includes: a power input section for receiving an input of first power; a power conversion section for converting the first power to second power that a second device can receive; a power output section for outputting the second power to the second device; a communication section for receiving a group identifier identifying a first group that is a set of a plurality of power conversion devices, and a first identifier identifying a device that is a control entity for controlling the power conversion devices belonging to the first group; a conversion information storage section for storing the first identifier; and a power conversion control section for, on receipt of a message with a power input/output instruction, making the power conversion section convert the first power to the second power as instructed, if the source device of the message is the device identified by the first identifier.
