摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic excitation control device of a synchronous machine which can display a capacity curve and a present operation point, and also can display a detection point of each limit control by superimposing it on the capacity curve and the present operation point. SOLUTION: The magnetic excitation control device of the synchronous machine comprises: a power converter 5 which energizes a field winding of the synchronous machine connected to a power system; a control device 9 which operates the power converter so that a voltage of the synchronous machine reaches a target value, and limits a field current when it is detected that the synchronous machine is brought into an over-energization state from the filed current of the synchronous machine; and a display 10 which displays the operation capacity range of the synchronous machine, and the active power and the reactive power of the synchronous machine. The control device 9 calculates a limit detection value of the filed current which is converted into terms of the active power and reactive power of the synchronous machine, and displays to the display 10 the operation capacity range of the synchronous machine, the active power and reactive power of the synchronous machine, and limit detection value of the filed current which is converted into the terms of the active power and reactive power of the synchronous machine.
